If you are new to patpat.lk, you need to register and submit your details and create an account.

• Click on the ‘Post Ad’ button on the Homepage

• If you are already registered, click the LOGIN button and enter your email and password to login.

• Click the POST YOUR AD FREE button and enter your ad details, photos and click submit.

Once details are verified and the ad is approved by our team, the ad will be published within 15 to 30 minutes.

You can simply enter the search term you wish to find in the search bar on the patpat.lk home page. (Eg: Car/ House) You can specify what you want to find by including more keywords. (Eg: Alto 2011/ House for Sale Colombo)

You can even visit specific category and use the filter option to find what you need.

Our financial assistance partner is able to provide leasing, personal loans and credit card services. In the Vehicle vertical - you can click the QUICK LEASE icon or via the LEASE YOUR VEHICLE icon on each ad and fill in the relevant details to request a lease.

In the Property vertical - you can click the HOME LOANS icon or via the HOME LOANS icon on each ad and fill in the relevant details to request a loan.

In other categories- you can click the CREDIT CARD and fill in the necessary details to request for a credit card.

A dedicated agent will get in touch with you within 3 minutes to verify your details and assist you with your request.

Simply login to your account, click on My Advertisements and follow instructions to edit or delete your advertisement.

To change your password, log into your account, click on My Profile and change password.

If you have forgotten your password, click the ‘Forgot Password’ link and enter your registered email address. A new password will be sent to your email. Use that password to log into your account.

Your advertisement(s) will be live on patpat.lk for a maximum period of 90 days or until you decide to delete it/them.

If you wish to keep the advertisement, simple repost the advertisement(s) once it is deleted/ expired.

• Premier Ad – Makes your ad bigger, highlighted and stay on top of the page for the selected duration.

• Boost Ad- Your ad will remain on top of the page for the selected duration.

• Quick Sell- Adds a Quick Sell icon to your ad to indicate that you are looking for an urgent sale.

You can promote your ad via two ways.

• For new ads : Simply select the promote your ad option once you post an advertisement.

• For existing ads : Select a posted advertisement and click Promote Ad option in the My Advertisement section of your user account.
