Plus, the heads will remain completely stable and in tune. The 6300 Series bass drum features a black metal hoop that firmly holds the head in place, as well as zinc alloy lug casings and steel claws that make for reliable tuning without damaging your drum. The 6300 Series drums feature a 6-ply birch shell, which provides a deep tone with ample resonance, powerful projection, and a punchy attack. Along with it is a sturdy metal hoop that keeps the drumhead snug and protects the outer rim of the shell. The shell is constructed from the highest quality woods using  Air-Seal System.
